【加州桑尼維爾訊】 2025 年 3 月 15 日，由Taiwan Next 主辦，美國知名「獨角獸孵化器」Plug and Play 協辦的 Taiwan Demo Day，於矽谷 Plug and Play Tech Center 盛大舉行，吸引逾 500 位各界菁英共襄盛舉。這不僅是雙方首度獨家合作，更是台美新創合作的重要里程碑。活動匯聚台美兩地優秀新創團隊，共同展演最新 AI 技術與產品，並吸引眾多矽谷知名創投和企業參與，為台美新創搭建交流合作的橋樑。
主辦單位Taiwan Next 創辦人暨執行長 Katie Hsieh 謝凱婷表示: 「Taiwan Next 致力於為新創打造連結資金、人才與技術的國際舞台。本次攜手 Plug and Play，希望能讓更多台灣新創與美國市場有更多的連結，也希望能借重Plug and Play 豐富的新創孵化經驗， 他們在過去曾成功孕育 Google、PayPal、Dropbox 等科技巨頭，為17000 家新創公司提供加速服務，創造了非常強而有力的新創生態圈。 這次的合作，也讓我們增加更多台美交流的機會。」
共同舉辦的Plug and Play 副總裁 Johannes Rott 談到:「我們非常榮幸能支持 2025 Taiwan Demo Day，並為這個蓬勃發展的創新生態系貢獻一份力量。台灣長期以來在全球科技與創業領域扮演領導角色，因此成為我們拓展國際據點的理想選擇。我們在此欣然宣布，Plug and Play 將在台灣桃園市設立首個據點。我們期待與當地的新創企業、公司及投資者攜手合作，共同推動深具意義的創新，並開創更多成長機會。」
活動開場致詞嘉賓，台灣工研院創新 ITIC 總經理余宛如表示：「台灣工研院創新公司 ITIC 總經理余宛如表示：「當台積電宣布在美國擴大投資的時刻，代表台灣已經是世界科技的引領者了。創新公司（ITIC）作為工研院設立的創投，過去 45 年來持續投資台灣深科技新創，見證並促進台灣半導體產業的蓬勃發展。如今，台灣在 AI 驅動的產業革命中已處於領先地位，ITIC 將善用其獨特資源，積極推動台美在 AI 領域的合作。美國在 AI 軟體發展方面領先全球，但是AI也需要資料與硬體，而台灣不但是民主大聯盟的忠實夥伴，更在硬體研發製造方面擁有顯著優勢。我們深信，台美雙方的緊密合作，必將彼此互惠、推動AI應用加速落地。」
本次春季 Taiwan Demo Day 吸引眾多台灣新創團隊踴躍報名，經嚴格篩選後，最終選出 10 支菁英團隊於會中展演，分別是 MetAI、MirWork、Morale AI、Pixel Canvas、Namecard.AI、Dealight、pxcode、TranXform、Athleo AI、RVI。其中，6 隊來自美國，4 隊遠自台灣而來，展現台美新創蓬勃動能。這些團隊不僅擁有令人矚目的背景，更在商業成就上表現亮眼，成員組成涵蓋 Y combinator (YC) 校友、首家獲 NVIDIA 領投之台灣新創、哈佛大學孵化團隊、具備 Amazon 與 Apple 多年經驗之專業人士、年營收達千萬美元之新創，以及專精於 AI 優化半導體製程、行銷科技、運動科技、人資科技、數位雙生等多元領域的創新者。
本次 Taiwan Demo Day 成功搭建了台美新創交流合作的平台，不僅展示了台灣新創的創新實力，更進一步促進了台美雙方在科技領域的合作與發展。
