8/30/2007, Dennis Wilder, National Security Council (NSC) Senior Director for Asian Affairs said: Taiwan, or the Republic of China, is not at this point a state in the international community. The position of the United States government is that the ROC -- Republic of China -- is an issue undecided, and it has been left undecided, as you know, for many, many years.
On the evening of November 24, 2022, in Urumqi, Xinjiang, a fire broke out in Apartment Building 8 of Chi-Chiang-Yuan Community. The fire burned from the 15th floor to the 17th floor. Residents were unable to escape immediately due to the lockdown, and neither the fire engines were able to put out the fire in time, resulting in a tragedy of 10 deaths and 9 injuries. The next day Urumqi officials refuted the rumors, inferring that the dead were all caused by not being familiar with the location of the safety exit, which caused residents to protest angrily, demanding an end to the lockdown that had been in place for more than three months but was still far away. On the 26th, Urumqi officials denied through a press conference that the lockdown prevented residents from escaping and fire rescue. It was reported that Shanghai citizens gathered on the evening of the 26th and held a candlelight memorial service on Urumqi Middle Road. Sadness was mixed with anger. Some people yelled "Don't need PCR Test, Want to Eat, Freedom, CCP Step Down, Xi Jinping Step Down, don’t need Dictatorship, Want Democracy” and other slogans, attracted more people joined in to help each other in the face of injustice. A lot of police forces rushed in immediately to arrest the protestors and forcibly disperse them.
On the afternoon of the 27th, Shanghai citizens gathered again on Urumqi Middle Road to commemorate the victims of the fire. They angered the police and yelled "Release them, let them go!" to protest the injustice of the arrested people. The police set up roadblocks and began to block the road at about 5 pm. The excitement was unbearable, and the crowd continued to pour in and gather. Immediately after the news spread, many places including Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Hebei, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Shaanxi, Jiangsu, Fujian, Shandong, and Jilin responded to the anti-blockade action. Thousands of students from Tsinghua University in Beijing gathered In the Bauhinia Garden on campus, in addition to mourning the victims in Urumqi, they also loudly protested and condemned the CCP regime; as of the 27th, more than 51 colleges and universities have responded to the white paper revolution A4 Revolution.
However, Taiwan at this time is filled with the shock of victory and defeat after the showdown of the nine-in-one local elections, soaked in joy and sorrow. The KMT celebrated happily, Taipei-New Taipei-Keelung-Taoyuan won the election; the DPP fell into the gloom of the biggest local election defeat since the founding of the party; although the People's Party had as many as 14 people elected to county and city councilors, but faced with 86 nominations, only one 2.48% election rate. Ko Wen-je was about to end his glorious years, so he was inevitably at a loss and melancholy.
Although the KMT elders such as Ma Ying-jeou, Chao Shao-kang and others are still intoxicated by their proud slogan of "vote for the DPP, youths go to the battlefield"; but in fact, they don't know that the Chinese youth are giving them a loud slap in the face. Because the A4 revolution that the Chinese youth are going on is to get rid of Xi Jinping whom dearest by Ma and others. Indeed, just as the KMT was getting carried away, China's A4 revolution emerged at the right time. I really don't know whether Ma wants to support the heroism of the Chinese youth, or continue to be loyal to their master, Xi Jinping?
Ballots should be the last line of defense for a civilized society for democracy, freedom, fairness, and justice. However, the result of the 9-in-1election in Taiwan really made people dumbfounded. Kao Hung-an, the mayor-elect of Hsinchu City, was accused of fraudulently receiving assistant fees and improperly using a patty cash account. She was endorsed by the two billionaires Kuo Tai-ming and Chuan Ming-chi and won by a big margin. Yilan county Lin Zimiao was prosecuted by the local prosecutor's office for corruption and was elected with a high number of votes. I really don't know what standards are used for this. It really makes people look foggy!
People in Taiwan are living in helplessness. Although we all have a good education, we do not know yet our identity and status in the international community. Some people claim to be Chinese, but they are unwilling, afraid, and dare not to return to China to settle down. Some people think they are Taiwanese, but they still hold the passport of the ROC; and it has been inherited by the PRC since October 25, 1971, according to UN Resolution 2758. When the whole world calls us Taiwan, we call ourselves the Republic of China Taiwan; we just don’t know whether it represents China, Taiwan, or both? However, I am still excluded from the door of the United Nations. This is Taiwan today. Politicians are always happy to travel between China and Taiwan, regardless of international treaties.
Of course, today's China is not much better. Its masters say all day long that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China, but they cannot come up with any legal documents that can be spread out to convince the Taiwanese. Since Taiwan was ceded to Japan permanently by the Manchu Qing government in accordance with the Treaty of Shimonoseki in 1895, there is no legal document to prove that Japan has handed over Taiwan's sovereignty to China. Although Japan announced in the San Francisco Peace Treaty and the Taipei Treaty that it had renounced any rights and interests of Japan in China, it only went back to September 7, 1901, and the Xin Chou Treaty signed in Beijing did not touch the 1895 Treaty at all. Treaty of Shimonoseki.
According to San Francisco Peace treaty 1951, the United States is the principal occupying power of Taiwan after WWII and is responsible for maintaining the security and prosperity of Taiwan society. The government of the ROC currently in power in Taiwan is actually a government-in-exile that fled from China to Taiwan. It does not have national sovereignty recognized by the international community, nor does it have territorial sovereignty over Taiwan. What's even more outrageous is that it doesn't know who it wants to represent? The KMT people say it represents China, but the international community says that China is represented by the PRC, which has its own constitution, territory, people and sovereignty. On the other hand, the ROC in Taiwan has nothing, but keeps saying that it is a sovereign country.
Yes, it is true that the government in power in Taiwan today has sovereignty, but it is only a kind of Popular Sovereignty, which is a part of Basic Human Rights or Fundamental Human Rights, and not the Territorial Sovereignty, or national sovereignty, that a normal country should have. If Taiwan wants to have its own territorial sovereignty, it must follow the laws of war and negotiate with the United States, the principal occupying power.
In the past, because the US wanted to fight against the USSR after WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, it needed to unite with PRC to contain Russia. Although Chiang Kai-shek was actively anti-communist in the early days, it was not successful after all. What's more, the descendants, followers, and party members are not as good as the previous generation. They are all greedy for life and afraid of death; Look at what Ma Ying-jeou, Chao Shao-kang and others said, "Vote for the DPP, and the youth will go to the battlefield; vote for the KMT, and there will be no battlefield on both sides of the Taiwan Strait." This is the standard KMT mentality today. But these are not what China wants. What Emperor Xi wants is the surrender of the KMT and the surrender of Taiwan. He made it clear at the Bi-Xi summit that Taiwan is a red line of China's internal affairs. However, Biden of behalf of the US is still stuck in the Cold War period, with an ambiguous one-China policy, and he dare not show his identity as the principal occupying power authorized by the San Francisco Peace Treaty and allowing the ROC government to still administer in Taiwan.
On August 30, 2007, Dennis Wilder, former National Security Council (NSC) Senior Director for Asian Affairs said: “Taiwan, or the Republic of China, is not at this point a state in the international community. The position of the United States government is that the ROC -- Republic of China -- is an issue undecided, and it has been left undecided, as you know, for many, many years.” Look at how even Chinese youth dare to stand up and shout for the resignation of the CCP and Xi Jinping, so what is the US waiting for? Justice Delayed is Injustice! The time has come, and it is time for Taiwan to verify its integrity.
The fire in Urumqi killed ten people and aroused the cry of thousands of Chinese youths; the angry Chinese youths set off a A4 revolution. The arrogance of Emperor Xi was shocked, and the zero-clearing policy has been turned around. However, there are still remnants of the Kuomintang in Taiwan, shouting for Taiwanese to lay down their arms and surrender obediently. The Ukrainian war has clearly told the world that only by fighting bravely can we resist the aggression of ambition. Crying won’t give freedom, only fighting can defend democracy and win the respect of the world.
Churchill said: "Britain and France had to choose between war and dishonor. They chose dishonor. They will have war." Taiwan has never been a part of China, whether it is the PRC, nor the ROC, Taiwan is Taiwan. There is no choice. This is my duty.
A4 write down the historical revolution in China, wake up the ambiguous policies of the United States, slam to those Xi’s followers of pro-unification, and lighten the bright future for Taiwan. The Chinese youth of the A4 Revolution resolutely undertake the responsibility of overthrowing the Communist tyranny. At the same time, it also arouses the people of Taiwan to resolutely undertake the responsibility of clearing up their alliance with China's hegemony and establishing Taiwan's international de jure status. Come on Taiwan!
