《潮來之音》由曉劇場藝術總監鍾伯淵編導，融合日本舞蹈家我妻惠美子的肢體設計，以新冠疫情、台灣特有的乩童與靈媒文化為靈感，展現一場獨特且感動人心的戲劇饗宴。劇作以多場台灣日常生活中的片段，探索人類面對孤獨、愛情、離別，以及氣候災難中的無力感，深刻描繪人性的複雜與情感。
Taiwan’s Shinehouse Theatre proudly presents its internationally acclaimed production, The Whisper of the Waves, at NYC’s renowned SoHo Playhouse as part of the prestigious International Fringe Encore Series. This milestone marks the first time a Taiwanese troupe takes the stage at this iconic venue!
Directed by Po-Yuan Chung, with choreography by Japanese dancer Emiko Agatsuma, the play draws inspiration from global events like the COVID-19 pandemic and incorporates unique Taiwanese cultural elements such as spirit mediums and shamans. The production takes audiences on an emotional journey through vignettes of Taiwanese life, exploring human connections, loneliness, and resilience amidst the impending chaos of a climate disaster.

Date: Saturday, February 1st, 2025 Time: Parade starts at 11AM sharp Location: The parade starts at the corner of 37th Avenue and Union Street, right in front of the 109th Precinct Resource: https://fcbainc.org/2024/11/30/2025-lunar-new-year-parade/ 農曆新年遊行詳情 遊行將於 2025年2月1日（星期六）上午11點 準時在 法拉盛37大道夾友聯街的109分局前出發，沿途經過友聯街(Union St)、三福大道(Sanford Ave)和緬街，最終抵達終點站飛越皇后大樓（Queens Crossing）。活動將以充滿活力的 舞獅舞龍表演開場，隨後由Mr. Met攜帶警察橫幅，並有樂隊伴奏的遊行隊伍隨之而來。
這個每年舉辦的慶祝活動，已經成為社區一年一度的重要盛事。自從2020年成為學校假日後，這場遊行更顯得意義重大，並持續吸引著來自不同族裔的社區參與，對增進社會的和諧與多元文化發展起到了積極的作用。
交通與路線安排 請注意，遊行當天 羅斯福大道與北方大道間的友聯街路段 將於 上午8:30 起禁止車輛通行，10:30 起，遊行路線周邊的街道將全面禁止停車與通行，預計活動將於 下午1:30至2:00 結束後恢復交通。這段時間內，所有駛經 緬街 的公共巴士將改道行駛，並請提前規劃出行路線。
Lunar New Year Parade Details The parade will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM sharp at the corner of 37th Avenue and Union Street, right in front of the 109th Precinct. The parade route will continue down Union Street, turning onto Sanford Avenue, and then onto Main Street, with the final destination at Queens Crossing. The festivities will kick off with vibrant Lion and Dragon dances, followed by a procession led by Mr. Met, carrying the police banner, and accompanied by a marching band.
Traffic and Route Information Please note that on the day of the parade, the section of Union Street between Roosevelt Avenue and Northern Boulevard will be closed to vehicles starting at 8:30 AM. Beginning at 10:30 AM, the streets along the parade route will be closed to both parking and traffic. The parade is expected to finish between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM, after which the streets will reopen. During this time, all public buses traveling along Main Street will be rerouted.
